Visiting a new church can be intimidating, so let us walk through the experience with you!.
At Westwood, our first-time guests are VIPs!

From the time you arrive at Westwood to finding a seat in the sanctuary, we’ll meet you and will be with you every step of the way as you desire.

After church, we would love to have a chat and thank you for visiting. Our atmosphere is casual, so feel free to dress however you feel most comfortable. We offer two (sometimes 3 – We have a communion service on the first Sunday at 9:45) Sunday services at 11am and 6:30pm, so feel free to bring your friends and pack up your entire family to join us!

We can’t wait to meet you this weekend!

The welcome at
Westwood Baptist

“Our First time at Westwood was really memorable, we didn’t know what to think, but everyone made us really comfortable pointing out things like the Sunday School. At the end of the service people were queing up to welcome us. It is true what they say – every guest is a VIP at Westwood.”

Our Sunday
Services

“I have been a member here at Westwood for some time and I have seen a number of changes over the years.  The most important part of our fellowship is how we love and take care and value each other.  Seeing new people coming to join us is a joy. We have different worship styles at our services where we focus on Jesus and we have a prayer ministry team who pray for anyone who needs help spiritually, emotionally or physically.”

We have three services on a Sunday
11AM – Family Service

In our morning services we aim for a family atmosphere. The services are relaxed, with lively singing led by members of our Music Group. The lineup varies but it’s usually lead vocals, guitar, keyboard and drums.

6:30PM – Evening Service

Our evening services take a more casual, cafe-type format where we sit round tables and tea, coffee and snacks are available. We use mostly contemporary worship songs. You can expect video clips, discussion, interaction with the speaker, open-mic sessions.

9:45m (First Sunday Every Month)

On the first Sunday of each month we have a communion service at 9:45 am. This is a quiet, reflective service led by one of our Elders with a mixture of traditional and gentle, contemporary music and a short, devotional talk before we take the bread and wine together.

During our 11AM service we have our Sunday School GNR8 and a creche
At the beginning of the service everyone meets together in the auditorium, quite a lot of the children like to sit on the front row, your children will be made very welcome here. At the beginning of the service we have a welcome, worship song, childrens song and childrens talk. After this the Sunday School leave to their groups. Don’t worry all of the Sunday School groups meet within the main building. We make it easy and safe for both parents and kids. We have no doubt, once your kids arrive and get checked-in, they’ll have a blast learning about Jesus!
