GNR8

What is GNR8?

GNR8 does exactly what it says on the tin!

GNR8 aims to generate God’s love in the hearts of young people.  We do this through a fun packed, fast paced, funky program of challenges, quizzes, songs, crafts, games, and not to mention the messy challenge of the week!

There are plenty of points to be won each week, and there is always a great prize every month to the winning team, especially to teams that bring new members along!!

Who is GNR8 for?

Anyone who attends primary school is invited to join us in GNR8!  GNR8 is totally free and aims to share God’s love with young people.

How can I get involved in GNR8?

If you are a young person - come along on a Sunday morning. We meet in Westwood Baptist Church every Sunday from 11am-1215pm.

If you are a parent and want more information on how to get your child involved, please email Phil Craven, philip.craven@ymail.com, or contact the church for more info.

GNR8 is staffed by a fully trained and committed group of volunteers who have undergone an enhanced disclosure check for their work with vulnerable individuals.

Parents and Toddlers

Every Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 Linda and her team set up the hall to make it look like a miniature adventure playground.  Parents enjoy time together while their children play and munch toast at break time. This group is open to the community and we make no charges.

Check the diary for holidays.

Child Protection

We have a comprehensive Vulnerable Persons Protection Policy which has recently been updated following the guidelines of the Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service.  We apply these procedures to all our activities to ensure the well-being of all involved in our activities.
